New Zealand Fashion Week Hair

Side-parted up-dos and centre-parted waves, corn rows and retro glam – the New Zealand Fashion Week shows have thrown up a host of different hairstyle ideas for the coming season.

From Huffer’s scruffy street-cool and Trelise Cooper’s crazy beehives to the sleek low buns of Cybele, the backstage hair teams have been working away to create the perfect styles to complement the new collections. Here we take a look at the best hairstyles of the shows.

The designers used soft braids, mixed textures and gorgeous up-dos.

Stolen Girlfriends Club

Stolen Grlfriends Club kept it simple, with sleek centre-parts on shoulder length locks.

Annah Stretton

Channeling 40’s glam, Annah used glamourous side-parted up-dos.

Trelise Cooper

The Trelise show used outrageous height and contrasting textures to compliment the gorgeous collection.

Designed to look like a ‘good’ bad hair day, Zambesi’s hair was total grunge glam.

Inspired by retro futurism, these sleek, low buns with a severe side-part looked gorgeous.

Moochi used platinum blonde bobs with blunt fringes to highlight the bold colours of their new collection.
