- Alligator hair clip
- Small bristle brush
- Banana clip
- Bobby Pins
1. Create a side part in line with the arch in your right eyebrow. Then, insert an alligator clip to section off the center of your hair from the side of your hair. Repeat on the left side. If you don’t already have natural texture, create it with a salt spray or texturizing spray, and scrunch your hair.
2. Brush the sides of your hair smooth. Using a small bristle brush, smooth your hair back at the same angle as your cheekbone (up and toward the crown of your head). This will instantly draw attention to your face, accentuating your cheekbones. Repeat on the other side.
3. Put the back of your hair in a banana clip. Place the bottom of the banana clip (that is the same color as your hair) at the nape of your neck, clasp the hair at the back of your head, and clip it together at the crown of your head to create the mohawk shape.
4. Shape your style. Remove alligator clips and use bobby pins to secure any hair to maintain the mohawk shape, or tuck in any stray hairs.
Finally, set your hair with a medium hold hairspray like Kerastase Lacque Couture and then go Instagram, Pin, and Tweet out your gorgeous #RedsHairStyle.
